Esosa Imasuen: Individualized Behavioral & Developmental Support

Every child is unique, with their own strengths, interests, communication style, and way of experiencing the world. My role is to understand the individual child—looking beyond behavior itself to consider what they may be communicating, what environmental factors may be contributing, and what support will be most meaningful for that child and family.

My approach combines training in behavior analysis, child development, and education with careful observation and a strong emphasis on trust and relationship-building. I work with children and families to strengthen communication, emotional regulation, flexibility, independence, and everyday life skills through strategies tailored to each child's individual needs and readiness.

Support begins with thoughtful observation and assessment across the environments and routines that shape a child's daily life. From there, I develop individualized strategies that may include environmental modifications, communication supports, changes to routines, naturalistic learning opportunities, and gradual skill-building.

I also work closely with parents, educators, and other professionals to create consistency across home, school, and community settings. My goal is not simply to change behavior, but to understand the whole child and create practical, sustainable support that helps them grow and develop greater independence.

Individualized Behavioral & Developmental Support

Child Mind Behavior provides individualized support for children with diverse behavioral, developmental, communication, and learning needs. My approach begins with understanding the whole child—their strengths, interests, communication style, environment, relationships, and the factors that may be contributing to challenges in everyday life.

What Support May Include

Initial Assessment & Observation: Every child and family is different. I begin with thoughtful observation, caregiver input, and assessment across relevant routines and environments to better understand the child's strengths, needs, patterns of behavior, and opportunities for meaningful support.

Individualized Support & Skill Development: Based on what I learn, I develop practical, individualized strategies that may include environmental modifications, communication supports, naturalistic learning opportunities, changes to routines, and gradual skill-building to strengthen emotional regulation, flexibility, independence, and participation in everyday life.

Parent, Caregiver & Educator Coaching: I work collaboratively with the adults in a child's life, offering practical strategies and support that can be naturally integrated into everyday routines. The goal is to create greater understanding and consistency across home, school, and community settings.

Ongoing Monitoring & Adaptation: Children's needs evolve, and support should evolve with them. I continually observe progress and adjust strategies based on the child's response, developmental readiness, changing needs, and family priorities.

Flexible Communication & Scheduling: I understand that questions and challenges don't always arise during scheduled sessions. When appropriate, I remain available by email, phone, or video conference for important discussions and ongoing collaboration.
